LG Optimus 3D - Not For Everyone

As LG Optimus 2X and LG Optimus Black were announced in the Mobile World Congress, LG Optimus 3D features 4.3 inches display and dual-core processor which is quite powerful to handle 3D video recording, fast web browsing and gaming. However, LG Optimus 3D is the first smartphone to display 3D technology. But all over how’s LG Optimus 3D phone as a 3D phone.

Frankly speaking, I am not that impressed. 3D is now growing in other categories as well such as TVs and cameras. Thankfully for this phone you need not to wear 3D special glasses to see up to 720p video on the LG Optimus 3D. But the felt the effect was quite disappointing as the images do not pop-out as in 3D effect it happens making the quality a bit odd.

One thing that put me off completely was repeatedly crashing of the phone while having hands-on the device. When I tried to open an app, 3D gallery for instance, the phone would completely freeze. However, I tried to use another phone, but that one wouldn't even turn on.

LG Optimus 3D packs a wide 4.2 inches capacitive touchscreen equipped with dual camera of 5 mega pixels each with the pixel density of 2560х1920 pixels each to give that 3D effect. The handset is installed with Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo) and that it will not arrive with the latest version of Android called Gingerbread, which is again disappointing. It also lacks 4G technology.
