LG Optimus 2X wins Guinness World Record
I would bet that we all at some point have gone through the much lauded Guinness Book of World records and know what it is all about. It’s a book packed with plethora of records for all sorts of things. I have an overwhelmed feeling while saying that LG Optimus 2X smartphone has finally landed itself in the record book. Yes, the smartphone wins this award for being the first mobile phone to use a dual core processor.
So, I was rather enthusiastic and impressed when I came to know that as according to the Guinness World Record, LG Optimus 2X has crowned world’s first ever dual-core processor smartphone.
Although, they mean the first ever commercially released phone, as I know are other dual-core devices as well under development before this. But this was the first and has a record to prove it.
Features:
LG Optimus 2X features a 4-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It also comes with a brilliant 8 mega-pixel camera with a pixel density of 3264x2448 pixels. Other features includes on-board memory of 8 GB, 512 MB RAM, A-GPS support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and lots more. LG Optimus 2X is embedded with Android 2.2 Froyo running on dual core 1GHz processor.
Is LG Optimus 2X is the Best???
Frankly speaking, the smartphone needs a lot of help as it is not the best. For instance there is Samsung Galaxy S II which is available and it is mind blowing. Further LG Optimus 2X has lot of competition to face with HTC Sensation which is on the way that not only has a dual core processor but also comes with madly high resolution that already has my mouth watering.
